My model dreadgirl is making it:))))
Hey! My daughter got a call! A REAL call for her modeling:))) And she has a women who is helping me navigate the model world! Without having to buy pictures:))) Woo hoo! We are so excited! My girl has been practicing poses, soft lips, posture, it is cute to watch.
We talked about how her height will most likely keep her from doing this as an adult, and her dreads will make it hard for her to do much now, but she doesn’t care, someone likes her look and is going to use her. And someone else likes her look so much they are sending the photos we have taken to another client cause they think she would be perfect for them!
For a hippie mom and a dreadlocked daughter, she sure is making her dreams real:)))
She is in another photo contest too. Right now we know she made the finals for the last c…ontest in may, and we are waiting for results. So far, the june contest they have sent us a message saying that her standings right now are in the top too:) So, the june contest is looking good!
I never though, as a WAY overweight mom, with dreadlocks, I would EVER allow my daughter to do this, but she wanted it, worked for it, and now she is making it happen!
