"I'm considering getting dreads but I have one major concern. I've had thick, beautiful hair all my life and I've done everything to destroy it (i.e. bleaching, coloring it funky colors, undercut) and it had always managed to go back to it's original state. Say I do get dreads and after a while I get too lazy to maintain them, would I have to shave my head or is there a possible (assuming to be tedious) way of "undreading" the hair?"

Hello! Thanks for asking me your question. I know of many ways to get the dreads out, and have heard it be done with varying levels of success. Basically, the answer is yes, if you have patience to brush it out, and the really good conditioning or de-dreading products.
But I have never known anyone in real life who has done it. So, I am just going on what others ahve told me.
But, I also think that onve you get your dreads you will LOVE them so much, you won’t want to take them out!

Good luck!
